Mrs. Dolly Geraldine Goss Elliott, age 51, of Rockmart died Thursday, June 18, 1998 in a Rome hospital. Mrs. Elliott was born March 6, 1947 in Polk County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jewell Virginia Byrd Goss; and a brother, Ray Goss. Survivors include three brothers, Ricky Goss, Jack Goss both of Aragon and Billy Goss of Rockmart; and a sister, Shirley Williamson of Aragon. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, 1998 at 2 p.m. from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Greg Drake officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers included Tim Morris, Brooks Byrd, Frankie Byrd, Jimmy Colston, Bryan Lindsey, and Tony Lindsey. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
