Christine Waddell Ellis
Christine Waddell Ellis, 77, of 214 Grover Road, passed away on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004 at her residence. She was born Dec. 24, 1927, daughter of the late James and Martha Ingram Waddell. She was married to William Harold Ellis and was preceded in death by him in 1997. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by two daughters, Jan Taylor and Cindy Nale; an infant son, William Ellis, Jr.; four sisters, Hasteen Blythe, Stella Pope, Hope Harris, Frances Waddell; and three brothers, Norman Waddell, James Waddell and Paul Waddell. She is survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral was conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at Wimberly Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Owen "Bud" Davis, Jr., officiating. Interment followed at Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Taylor, J.D. Nale, Larry Glass, Dick Parker, Mike Blythe, Kenneth Blythe, Frank Wood and Jimmy Waddell. The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
