Chase Ray Floyd
Mr.Chase Ray Floyd, 21, of Blankenship Road, Cedartown passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Rome on March 28, 1986, the son of Dennis Ray Floyd and Tammy Chandler Floyd. He had lived his entire life in Cedartown where he was a 2004 graduate of Cedartown High School. He was an avid hunter and out- doorsman. He enjoyed farming and was employed by Steel King of Rome where he worked as a welder. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. Joe Floyd,Sr. and Mrs. Lois Floyd; grandmother Mrs. Zania Coats Tucker and great grandfather, Rev. Clifford Chandler.
Survivors include his father, Mr. Dennis Ray Floyd of Cedartown, mother, Mrs. Tammy Chandler Floyd of Cedartown; sister and brother-in-law, Mrs. Hailey Floyd Bissell and Mr. Shawn Bissell, Villa Rica; grandparents, Mr. Dewey Chandler and Mrs. Frances Chandler of Cedartown; great grandmother, Mrs. Jewell Chandler of Cedartown and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Brian Floyd officiating, Jake Addison and Rev. Mark Smith delivering eulogies. Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers including Josh Thompson, Zack Jones, Dusty Bozemen, Rick Floyd, Jeremy Cope and Joseph Ingram. Honorary pallbearers included Jake Addison, John Blankenship, James Blankenshiip, Corey Shaw and Jason Stroup.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
