Mrs. Julia Weaver Gilliam
Mrs. Julia (Grace) Weaver Gilliam, 80, 225 Philpot Street, died Thursday, October 10, 1985 at the Floyd Medical Center.
Mrs. Gilliam was born July 10, 1905 in Polk county. She attended Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include five sons; Lloyd Gilliam, Earl Gilliam, Harold Gilliam, Buddy Gilliam and Jerry Gilliam, all of Cedartown; four daughters, Mrs. Roger Watts, Mrs. Alvin Chandler, Mrs. Gerald Sloman, all of Cedartown, Mrs. Kenneth Robinson, Buchanan; three sisters, Mrs. Ezzeal Lee, Buchanan, Mrs. Billy Thompson, Cedartown, Mrs. Louise Weaver, Raleigh, N.C. Twenty-three grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12 at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Holiness Church. The Revs. James Carr and Roy Frazier officiated. Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
