Mr. Jimmie Ingram
Mr. Jimmie Ingram, age 88, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. He was born November 6, 1919 in Polk County, GA, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Will Ingram.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II in France, Luxembourg, and Germany.
Mr. Ingram was a retiree of thirty-three years from the Polk County Road Department.
Family survivors include Daughters, Margie Pruitt Weaver and her husband, Ben Weaver and Wilma Dyer; Sons, Steve Ingram and Jimmy David Ingram and his wife, Connie Ingram; Four Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren.
Mr. Ingram is preceded in death by Wife, Annie Ruth Ingram who passed away in August of 2003 and Parents, John Will Ingram and Sallie Baker Ingram.
The funeral service for Mr. Jimmie Ingram will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at The Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Osborne and Rev. Billy Swift officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the American Legion Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard.
Pallbearers are Adam Smith, Jim Ingram, Matthew Pruitt, Donnie Smith, Harold Ingram, and Buddy McKinzey.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
