Mrs. Mary Jarrell King
Mrs. Mary Jarrell King, age 79, of Cedartown, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Mrs. King was born on September 17, 1929 in Polk County to the late Robert & Laura Brand Jarrell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jarrell and her sisters, Lillian Beecham & Cynthia Powell. Mrs. King was a member of the United Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cedartown.
She is survived by Her Husband, John D. King. Her Step Sons, Wayne King and Billy Ray King. Her Sister, Robin Brannon. A number of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jarrell King will be conducted on Friday afternoon, July 3, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. from the United Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. James Rosser and the Rev. R.B. Hulsey officiating. Mrs. King will Lie in State at the Church on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends Thursday July 2, 2009 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Funeral Home.
The following Gentlemen are asked to serve as Pallbearers; William Baulch, Mike Balch, Robert Wilson, Lee Beecham, Bobby Jarrell & Alvin Cotton. Wesley Beecham will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
