Mr. Harley Logan
Mr. Harley J. Logan, age 81, 206 Marshall Street, passed away unexpeciedly Saturday afternoon at his residence. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a retired auto salesman for Ray Edwards Ford. He was born, November 14, 1890 in Cleburn Co., Alabama, but had lived most of his life in Polk County, Georgia.
Survivors include one son Haywood Logan of Cedartown; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia L. Hammill of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Sara Frances Moore of Charlotte, N.C.; two stepsons, Brantley Edwards of Cedartown and William Cliff Edwards of Rome, Ga.; one brother, Mr. B.R. Logan of Cowpens, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Andrew Nunis of Garland, Texas. Fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil W. Johnson officiating. Internment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Gammage Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
