Mrs. Savannah Brewster Logan
Mrs. Savannah Brewster Logan, age 82, of 206 Marshall St. passed away Sunday evening at Polk General Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Logan was born in Polk County, Feb. 21, 1883, and had lived in Cedartown and Polk County all her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Logan was the daughter of the late William T. and Nancy Hartwell Brewster.
Surviving are; her husband - Harley J. Logan of Cedartown; two daughters - Mrs. Virginia Hamil of Jesup, Ga. and Mrs. W. C. Moore of Charlotte, N. C.; three sons - Brantley Edwards and Haywood Logan both of Cedartown and Cliff Edwards of Rome; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services wer held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Olin Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev Cecil Johnson and the Rev. Tom Rogers officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery
Pallbearers were: Jack Lott, John Branch, Van Cambron, Jimmy Heard, Bunyon Willingham and Ray Edwards.
Honorary pallbearers were;L. C. Morgan, Virgil Howard and Russell Knight.
Olin Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
