Dot McElwee
Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" H. McElwee, 67, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008.
Mrs. McElwee was born July 12, 1940, in Polk County to the late Everett and Gladys Lee and was preceded in death by her husband Huel H. McElwee, son Scott Hilliard and a sister, Evelyn Pyles. Mrs. McElwee was a member of the New Etna Baptist Church and retired from Sony Music.
Surviving are son, Donnie Hilliard; stepson and daughter-in-law Tim and Jill McElwee; stepdaughter and son-in-law Adonna and Gary Puckett; two brothers, Bobby Lee and Jerry and Pam Lee; one grandson, five stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lester Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
