Mrs. Patricia Williams Pike
Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" Williams Pike, 65, of 519 I Adamson Ave., Carrollton, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008.
Mrs. Pike was born in Polk County on Aug. 5, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey Williams and the late Lizzie Mae Atkins Williams. Mrs. Pike was a member of Young's Grove Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Pike and two sisters, Wilhelmenia Gann and Evelyn Williams. Survivors include one daughter, Maria Eskew of Carrollton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eddie and Catherine Waits of Bremen and Randy Waits of Carrollton; three sisters and two brothers- in-law, Bobby Norris of Cedartown, Shirley and Gene Barber of Cedartown and Edna Earl and Larry Rogers of Rockmart; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Cliff and Betty Williams of Cedartown and Seals Williams of Cedartown; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. from Hutcheson's Memorial chapel with Rev. Kenneth Layton, Rev. Roger Parris and Rev. L.A. Tapp officiating.
Music was rendered by Brittany Moss and Sharon Jackson. Interment followed in the Young's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jeremy Waits, Eric Williams, Joey Norris, Todd Norris, Jason Rogers, Greg Barber and Barry Williams.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan was in charge of the arrangements.
