Darick R. Pitts
Mr. Darick Ronald Pitts, 37, 100 Creek Bank Rd., Aragon, died Thursday August 25, 1994, in Marietta, Georgia. He was born Feb. 16, 1957 in Charleston, South Carolina, was a heating and air conditioning operator and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Billy and Mildred Culp Pitts and sister, Debbie Lynn Pitts. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Woods and Mrs. June Garner, both of Aragon and brother, Billy Pitts, of Rome. The funeral was held at 4 p.m. Monday, August 29, 1994 from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating. Interment followed in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Lee, Richard Garner, Jeremy Woods, Eric Deaton and Howard Pitts. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The Rockmart Journal August 1994)
