Mrs. Mable Beatrice Arp Roberson
Mrs. Mable Beatrice Arp Roberson, 80, of Tower Circle, Rockmart, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007.
Mrs. Roberson was born on Sept. 19, 1927 in Bartow County, daughter of the late Lillie Mae Brook Arp and the late George Arp. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberson was a homemaker and for many years was employed with the E.Z. Mills of Cartersville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Roberson. Mrs. Roberson is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Bill Morris, Brenda and Rickey Roberson, and Connie Roberson Harris all of Taylorsville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Syble Roberson of Taylorsville, Jackie and Judy Roberson of Rockmart and Gary and Kathy Roberson of Taylorsville; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, in the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chambers and Rev. Danny Roberson officiating. Interment services followed in the family lot of Taylorsville Cemetery.
The following grandsons served as pallbearers; Ladele Roberson, Danny Roberson II, Ricky Roberson, Jr., Shaun Roberson, Chris Harris and Donnis Baines.
Great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
