This community was made sad on August 24th, by the death of Mr. T. A. Shaw. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. C. Stratton, of Cave Spring, and his body was laid to rest in this cemetery on Monday. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, six sons, Messrs. Ralph, Perry, Clarence, Herman, Coy and Earl and three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Johnson of Gadsden, Ala., Mrs. Henley Hopper and Miss Lula Shaw, besides a host of relatives and friends.
