Edward B. Smith
Edward B. Smith, 72, of Bradenton, formerly of Sarasota, died July 5, 2007.Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, with services to follow, at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Donna; sons Roger D. of Sarasota and Jackie W. of Bradenton; brothers George W. of Sarasota, Billy Ray and Michael J., both of Georgia, and Melvin of Bradenton; and sisters Catherine Short, Shirley Dowdy, Edna Stephens, Bonnie Laminack and Betty, all of Georgia.
Edward also leaves behind his granddaughters, Athyna Smith, Sarah Smith and Katelyn Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Steven Amato and Demond Williams. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cathy Smith.

Edward was raised in Polk County, he is my brother and the son of George Washington Smith, Sr.
