Jessie Lewis Smith
Mr. Jessie Lewis Smith, 53, of 922 Canal St., Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008 at an area hospital following a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 9, 1954 to the late William Lewis Smith and Jessie Jeanette Lively Smith. Mr. Smith lived most of his life in Cedartown and was a former employee of Polk County working with the road department. He attended The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church of Cedartown.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vickie Robbins Smith of Cedartown; one son, Jason Lewis Smith, Cedartown; one sister, Diane Mohon, Rockmart, one niece and one nephew.
Funeral services were held Friday Feb. 8, 2008 in The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church of Cedartown with Rev. James Rosser officiating.
Pallbearers included: Julius Hayes, James Allen, Ronnie Walker, Bud Nash, Michael (Buddy) Robbins, Rodney Mohon and Matt Pruitt.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
