Mr. Howard Franklin Tillery
Mr. Howard Franklin Tillery age 85 of 215 E. Fairmount Ave. Cedartown Ga. Passed away Monday Feb. 5, 2007 after an extended illness. Howard Tillery was born May 15, 1921 in Polk Co. to the late James & Mattie Lou Tillery.
He was preceded in death by a number of brothers & sisters.
Howard Tillery started his own plumbing business in Cedartown in 1946 and worked for the public for 50+ years until he retired. Howard was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, Served in the Army in WWII & a member of the American Legion & the Caledonia Lodge 121 F&AM.
Surviving are his wife Doris Morris Tillery, four Sons and daughters in law Phil & Terry Tillery, Ronnie & Carol J. Tillery, Rocky & Patty Tillery & Scotty & Ann Marie Mullen Tillery. Three Daughters & Sons in law Robyn & Benny Hubbard, Diane & Marvin Cheatwood & Becky & Dewey Rutledge. 18 Grandchildren & 20 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews also surviving.
Funeral services for Howard Franklin Tillery will be conducted Thursday February 8, 2007 at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Wayne Benefield, Frank Burgess Jr. & Dr. James Guy officiating. Interment services will follow in the North View Cemetery with Dr. Bob Hoffman officiating. The Family will receive friends Wednesday February 7, 2007 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Lester Litesey Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations maybe made to The Southside Baptist Church or a Church of ones choice.
Pallbearers are Keith Cheatwood, Todd Tillery, Craig Tillery, Joshua Hubbard, Jordon Hubbard, Russell Tillery, Jacob Hubbard, Breck Tillery & Clayton Tillery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.
The Lester Litesey Funeral Home of Cedartown Ga. Has charge of the funeral services for Howard Franklin Tillery.
