Dollie A. Timms
Mrs. Dollie A. Timms, age 83, of 751 North College St., Cedartown, Ga. passed away on Thursday December 6, 2007 following an extended illness. Mrs. Timms was born on April 16, 1924 in Polk County to the late Frank & Mattie Mae Beck Allison. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Cedartown.
Mrs. Timms is survived by her husband, Paul Timms of Cedartown; her son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Alana Timms of Cedartown; her daughter, Sandra Terzina of Hartford, CT; her sister, Jane Dempsey of Cedartown; her grandchildren, Tim Burns, Mary Catherine Gerry and Neely Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Allison Burns and Riley Carpenter; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside & Interment services will be conducted on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Family Lot in the Greenwood Cemetery, with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Bob Holcomb officiating. Mrs. Timms will lie in state at the Litesey Funeral Home until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning December 8, 2007 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family as respectfully requested please omit flowers and make Memorial Contributions to either the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to the Samaritan House of Cedartown. Surviving are her husband Paul Timms of Cedartown; son and daughter- in-law, Steve and Alana Timms of Cedartown; daughter, Sandra Terzina of Hartford, CT; sister, Jane Dempsey of Cedartown; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside and interment services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 from the family lot in the Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Bob Holcomb officiating.
The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home of Cedartown had charge of arrangements.
