Forrest Eugene White
Mr. Forrest Eugene White, 73, 3 Mimarchelle Drive, Rockmart, died Wednesday August 22, 2007.
He was born December 4, 1933 in Polk County, Ga., the son of the late Robert "Bob" and Eula Mae Ferguson White. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Aragon Mills Employee, and a member of Aragon Baptist Church.
A son, Mark Eugene White, preceded Mr. White in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Whiteside White to whom he was married on June 30, 1956; a son and two daughter-in-law, Tim and Renita White of Cedartown, and Peggy White of Rockmart; a sister, Sue Kellett of Union, SC; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Mary White and Jerry and Carolyn White of Rockmart and Paul and Joan White of Cedartown; 3 grandchildren, Trent White, Kipsy Argo, and Eric White; 2 great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 24 in the Aragon Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Puckett and Rev. Wayne Fain officiating. Interment followed in the family lot of Aragon Cemetery.
The following were asked to serve as pallbearers; James Kellett, John Kellett, Trent White, Eric White, Chad Whiteside and Steve White. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
