Firemen's Resolutions
Whereas, the Cedartown Fire Department has lost, in the sudden death by accident of Mr. Thomas Whitfield, one of its most useful and active members; therefore,
Be it resolved, That we, his brother firemen, deeply deplore his death. He was prompt and enthusiatic in the discharge of every duty assigned him, and his tragic death ia s distinct loss to the Department.
Resolved futher, That we tender our sincere sympathy to the family of our deceased brother in their great bereavement, and that we send them a copy of these resolutions, and also request their publication in our city papers.
