Benjamin Hamilton Harrell born April 24, 1842, in Pulaski Co, GA. Son of Wright W.
Harrell, Son of Levi Harrell, II. Brother to William Holt Harrell. Married Mary
Obedience Mitchell, in Pulaski Co., GA., January 25, 1852. He was a first cousin to
all of the Harrell men listed below.

Levi Holt Harrell - born Aug. 6, 1832, Pulaski Co., GA. He married Mary Jane
Willcox, dau. of John Willcox, III and Louisa Conner. Levi enlisted as a private in
Co. K on May 15, 1862. He was wounded in the leg at Cold Harbor, VA on June
27, 1862 and then transferred to Co. B, April 3, 1863. The record shows he was
absent without leave Dec. 1864 and pension records show he was at Danville, VA
on wounded furlough close of war. Levi died on August 1911 at the age of 79
years and is buried beside his wife at the Harrell-Rogers Cemetery, Dodge Co.,
GA. A CSA memorial marker is erected at his grave.

William Lewis Harrell (twin brother to Levi Holt Harrell, listed above)
was born Aug. 6, 1832, Pulaski Co., GA. Married Harriet Willcox, sister to Mary
Jane Willcox, listed above, wife of Levi Holt Harrell, twin brother to William Lewis
Harrell. He enlisted as a private March 4, 1862 in Co. K. Records show him absent
April 1865. William Lewis died August 10, 1913 at the age of 80. He is buried in
Sharon Baptist Church, Telfair Co., Ga. Nat. Archives MF Box, Roll, and Record:
000226,0029,00003591. Both men listed above were sons of William
Holt Harrell and Sophia (Hendley) Harrell. They lost two sons during the Civil War.

John Harrell - Private died July 10, 1863 in Richmond, VA., while serving in the
Confederate States Army. He never married. (My G G Grand Uncle through my
Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Lovett Harrell - Private - died in Richmond VA., Dec. 27, 1862. He never married.
(My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the
family.)
Both men listed above lost a leg due to injuries sustained in battle and each came
home wearing a peg leg. One is my G G Grandfather and the other is his twin
brother.

Charles Harrell born 1834/35 in Pulaski Co., GA. brother to Levi Holt, William Lewis,
John and Lovett Harrell all mentioned above. Also enlisted in the Confederate
Army when the war broke out. He married Elizabeth McKay, dau. of Archibald
McKay. Charles survived the war and came was discharged at the end of the war.
Charles and his wife had a large family, naming one of his sons after his two
brothers, John and Lovett, who died during the Civil War. One of his sons is my G
Grandfather on my Father's maternal side of the family. Charles and Elizabeth are
buried in the Coffee-Harrell Cemetery, Pulaski Co., GA) (My G G Grandfather

Needham Harrell born after 1836, brother to Charles, Levi Holt, Lovett, John and
William Lewis above, joined the Confederate Army and served till the end of the
war. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the
family.)

Hendley Harrell born about 1840/45, brother to Charles, Levi Holt, Lovett, John
and William Lewis above, joined the Confederate Army and served till the end of
the war when he was discharged. He married Nancy Willcox, sister to Mary Jane
and Harriet Willcox, all daughters of John Willcox, III and Louisa Conner. Hendley
died prior to July term of court 1871 (Telfair Co., GA.). (My G G Grand Uncle
through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Wright Harrell born about 1845/46, joined the Confederate Army when the Civil
War broke out, he is a brother to Levi Holt, William Lewis, Charles, Lovett, John,
Needham and Hendley Harrell listed above. Wright married Mary Reaves, dau of
Josiah Reaves and Eliza Rountree and the granddaughter of Drewry Reaves and
Mary Reaves. The couple lived in the lower part of the county near Rhine, GA.

"Polly Ann" (Daniel) Hendley. Horton Hendley, mentioned above is the son of
William Hendley, RS. and brother in law of William Holt Harrell, mentioned above,
father of Levi Holt, Charles, Lovett, William Lewis, John, Needham, Hendley,
Wright who were first cousins of Sophia Hendley listed above, wife of Lt. William
P. Harrell. Also William P. Harrell is of course related to all of the Harrell men
fore-mentioned. As one can see most of the residents in Pulaski Co., GA., were

Jane Willcox, listed above, wife of Levi Holt Harrell, twin brother to William Lewis Harrell. He enlisted as a private March 4, 1862 in Co. K. Records show him absent April 1865. William Lewis died August 10, 1913 at the age of 80. He is buried in Sharon Baptist Church, Telfair Co., Ga.

Both men listed above were sons of William Holt Harrell and Sophia (Hendley) Harrell. They lost two sons during the Civil War. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

John Harrell - Private died July 10, 1863 in Richmond, VA., while serving in the
Confederate States Army. He never married. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Lovett Harrell - Private - died in Richmond VA., Dec. 27, 1862. He never married. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)Both men listed above lost a leg due to injuries sustained in battle and each came home wearing a peg leg. One is my G G Grandfather and the other is his twin brother.

Charles Harrell born 1834/35 in Pulaski Co., GA. brother to Levi Holt, William Lewis, John and Lovett Harrell all mentioned above. Also enlisted in the Confederate Army when the war broke out. He married Elizabeth McKay, dau. of Archibald McKay. Charles survived the war and came was discharged at the end of the war. Charles and his wife had a large family, naming one of his sons after his two brothers, John and Lovett, who died during the Civil War. One of his sons is my G Grandfather on my Father's maternal side of the family. Charles and Elizabeth are buried in the Coffee-Harrell Cemetery, Pulaski Co., GA) (My G G Grandfather through my Father's maternal side of the family)

Needham Harrell born after 1836, brother to Charles, Levi Holt, Lovett, John and William Lewis above, joined the Confederate Army and served till the end of the war. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Hendley Harrell born about 1840/45, brother to Charles, Levi Holt, Lovett, John and William Lewis above, joined the Confederate Army and served till the end of the war when he was discharged. He married Nancy Willcox, sister to Mary Jane and Harriet Willcox, all daughters of John Willcox, III and Louisa Conner. Hendley died prior to July term of court 1871 (Telfair Co., GA.). (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Wright Harrell born about 1845/46, joined the Confederate Army when the Civil War broke out, he is a brother to Levi Holt, William Lewis, Charles, Lovett, John, Needham and Hendley Harrell listed above. Wright married Mary Reaves, dau of Josiah Reaves and Eliza Rountree and the granddaughter of Drewry Reaves and Mary Reaves. The couple lived in the lower part of the county near Rhine, GA. (My G G Grand Uncle through my Father's paternal and maternal side of the family.)

Lt. William P. Harrell, married Sophia Hendley, dau. of Horton Hendley and Mary "Polly Ann" (Daniel) Hendley. Horton Hendley, mentioned above is the son of William Hendley, RS. and brother in law of William Holt Harrell, mentioned above, father of Levi Holt, Charles, Lovett, William Lewis, John, Needham, Hendley, Wright who were first cousins of Sophia Hendley listed above, wife of Lt. William P. Harrell. Also William P. Harrell is of course related to all of the Harrell men fore-mentioned. As one can see most of the residents in Pulaski Co., GA., were related through many marriages.
