| William Nathaniel Brown born 7 Mar 1852 Marion Co. Ga. died 1 Jun 1912 Gorday
Community, Worth, Ga. he was the son of George A. Brown and Julia P. Raines, the Grandson of William
M. Brown and Amanda Gray, W. Nathaniel Raines and Rebecca Jackson
"Nat" and Mary Jane McMichael took out their license in Randolph Co. Ga. where they both lived, but were married in the home of his Grandfather Wm. M. Brown in Buena Vista. The marriage was Oct. 8 1876. Mary Jane was the child of Thomas Jefferson McMichael and Mary Jane Aven, the Grandchild of Seaborn McMichael and Elizabeth Riley, John W. Aven. Their children were:
Julia P. married James Augustus Roberts son of Simeon Halvenston and Susannah Alma Knighton, Grandson
of George E B B Roberts and Mary Carolyn Virginia Cannon. They had twins who died, Gussee Ree 1901-1902 and
Haller Harris 1902-1968
Minutes Book Randolph Co Ga. W.N. Brown and Georgia McMichael 10 years old, and her Father T J McMichael
late of Mitchell Co. He Petitioned for escrow of estate of Father $500 or some other large to take over as her guardian.
1 Nov 1883. He Petitioned again 26 Aug 1886 and Georgia was 14 years old $107.42 This was for schooling and board and
to be releived of making any more petitions and returns for his acting and doings as Guardian for Georgia.
Again page 608 Georgia was 14. He said said $107.42 would not pay for her board and schooling for one year and ask
for permission to spend the balance of her estate and not to make more returnes. 6th Sep 1886.
