On the cover the title is: History of the First Baptist Church of Cuthbert, Georgia 1831 to 1981 On the "inside" title page: Sesquecentennial History of First Baptist Church of Cuthbert, Georgia 1831 - 1981. A copy is located in the Church Library in Cuthbert.

The Articles of Faith were recorded with the following signatures: Hyram Adair, John Barksdale, Emelus Jordan, Irby Guilder, Elizabeath Adair, Mary A.F. Barksdale, Susan Jordan and others.
