Deed for Ellerbee Family Grave Yard

State of Ga-Randolph Co. Deed Book BB Page 601 In consideration of the sum of six dollars to us paid by ourselves J.H. Ellerbee of Terrell Co Ga & Sarah J. Bridges and Lydia E. Hooks of the County of Randolph & State of Ga. do hereby set aside one acre of land in the County of Randolph & State of Ga., a tract or parcel of land which is described as follows; situated & being on the south line running east west of lot land No.89 & bounded on the west by the public road running north from said land line 70 yrds., thence east in parallel with said land line 70, thence south in parallel with said public road 70 yds to said land line thence west 70 yeards to starting point. Said land being a part of lot #88 in the 4th district of Randolph Co Ga., & known as the "Grave Yard Lot" and said acre of land not to be subject to the debt or debts of any person or persons, forever. To have & to hold said land & its appurtenances unto said Grave Yard lot assigns in fee simple. We warrent the title of said land against the lawful claims of all persons. Ellerbee (Seal) Sarah J. Bridges (Seal) Lydia E. Hooks (Seal) Recorded Feby 15, 1890 (This is the Family Grave Yard=set aside- by the children of Sarah Jane (Winderweadle) Ellerbee. She died 3 Feb 1890 Randolph. Her husband Edward Alexander Ellerbee died in the Civil War 1863 and is also buried there-as well as her son-in-law Thomas Luther Hooks who died about 1888. All are rock piles, no markers, lots of brambles- plus a couple more) (Thomas Luther Hooks is the brother of my Great-Grandfather Thomas Jefferson Hooks-
