James Williams served in the Virginia Continental Line and, 1778, held the rank of captain. He served to the close of the war and died about 1823.
Samuel Watson, (1740-81), served as lieutenant in the South Carolina Rangers until killed at the battle of Cowpens. He was born in Virginia,
emigrated to South Carolina 1760, where he gave his life for his country.
