Mary returned to Taylor County after his death in 1901.

Died October 10, 1861 (From wounds sustained in combat)
Also, several children named Brewer are buried there. They had the small
metal plaques placed in the ground by funeral homes until a permanent marker
could be erected. However, these dated from the early 1900's and the
funeral home was in Corsicana, Texas. Will send names and dates as soon as
possible.
