NOTES:
There are no markers at the cemetery.
The graves are marked by rocks. The old rock wall is no longer there but
there is the remains of an old iron fence around the area. It is only
speculation who is buried there.

Bit of Trivia: I remember when Joan Hill & Raymond & several others cleared
off the cemetery, that they found more stones than they expected. Also Bill
Bazemore (I believe) told me that originally the graves had cement tops over
them. Cows in the pasture destroyed the rock wall and the cement tops.

Joels wife was Appy Underwood. I have the papers of Joels death date (Bill
Bazemore found his service records), and I will get that. I just remember
off the top of my head that he died very early in the war. It seems someone
(Bill) told me that the preacher from Prosperity rode to Atlanta to retrieve
his body? I really should look into that one further.
