Sherman and his
men cut a path across Georgia burning
and destroying everything on his push to
the sea.. This was a tremendous loss
to genealogists. Coupled with courthouse
burnings and natural deterioration.
the old records continue to crumble and
are gone like the wind.
We are in a race against time to get the
old records recorded for the future
generations. We need your help.
While researching take the time to
gather a record that will help others
and send the records you have so
others may benefit from them as well. One will, land,
deed, pension, marriage at a time and
eventually we can have them all online.
Luke 6:38
- Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men
give into your bosom. For with the same
measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.
I am Margie Daniels a
Jasper County researcher and manager for
Jasper County. I am researching
Henry Glover who is known to have been
in Jasper County in 1839-40 and probably
longer. The estate records of his
father John Glover in Crawford County
Georgia listed Henry as living in Jasper
County. If you have any
information on the Glover families or
any families please send it to me and I
will add them here. Warmest
regards....Margie Glover Daniels
