I was b. in Chickamauga, Walker Co., GA on 1 May 1948. I am trying to find the correct spelling of the doctor who delivered me. I have heard his name spoken, but have never seen it written. I am told his name was Dr. Simonton, or Siminton/Simington/Symington, or something close to that. I am also told that the clinic where I was b. was of the same name as his. Could you please send me the correct spelling of the doctor's name? I would be grateful. Thank you.

Am looking for info on Cicero C. MCCONNELL b. 23 Jul 1851 d. 14 Feb 1929 m. to Ocea Ella RANSOM b. 2Jun 1854 d. 10 Jul 1927. I know they lived in Walker Co. around LaFayette and that Ocea's father was Reuben RANSOM m. to Caroline OWINGS. Parents of Caroline are John OWINGS m. to Elizabeth GLENN Also that Reuben's father was James RANSOM m. to Nancy RANDOLPH. Nancy is though to be a direct line descendant of Jane BOLLING of VA, m. to Col. Richard RANDOLPH of " Curles" VA. I would like to find out what Nancy RANDLOPH's parents names were and her grandparents names and any dates and any other info on her family. Also if anyone wants any info on the MCCONNELL's that lived in Walker Co. I will help as I have some info going back to when the MCCONNELL first came to Walker Co. Dates on the MCCONNELL's go from 1771-1997. Some members of the family still live in LaFayette.

Am researching the TYGART family. Wylie Parks TYGART b. Jan. 26, 1848 Walker Co., GA m. Mary Ann SILVEY b. June 10, 1849 Walker Co., GA. They had ten children -- I have names and most dates -- . Wylie Parks TYGART was son of J.H. TYGART and Elizabeth LASLEY. Mary Ann SILVEY was dau. of William R. (Peter) SILVEY and Obedience TYNER. A family note says "J.H. TYGART started his own way of life in 1865." Whatever that means. TYGART moved at some point to Logan Co. AR. Any help or additions appreciated. I will gladly share info I have. I am researching the family of James HUNT; b. around 1800 in Walker Co, GA, m. Mary Ann HAYNES in 1823 & then Jane T. ADAMS in 1837 in Coweta Co., GA. James & Jane had 7 children: (1) James M. [1839-1864], (2) Beverly D. [1840-?], (3) Sarah Catherine [1841-1911], (4) George A. [1844-?], (5) John Wesley [1846-1900], (6) Thomas Jefferson [1848-1931], (7) Joel Cicero [1851-?]. I am interested in three (3) pieces of info: [1] The parents of James HUNT; [2] Info anyone might have on any of these or other HUNTS in this lineage. [3] In hearing from anyone related to James HUNT; by marriage or blood. James moved his family to AR around 1860. I believe some remained in GA, I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

What was the surname of EZEKIEL BURNS wife Rachel? Who were her parents? Ezekiel and Rachel m. in Greenville Co., SC about 1840. They are in the Walker Co., GA census in 1850 and 1860. Some of their children were Jeremiah, James, George W., Michael, Ruth and Claeinda. Any info is appreciated.
