Beulah Farmer BARKSDALE, 55, died June 9, 1953 in Whitfield County, Dalton, GA. She is survived by her husband, Virgil E. Barksdale; daughters, Mrs. Mary Merritt, Mrs. Hazel Williamson, Mrs. Betty Black, Mrs. Helen Chapman, Mrs. Rachel Cox, Mrs. Ruth Palazzolo and Mrs. Ann Phelan; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were by Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home of Dalton, GA. Interment was in Harrison Chapel Cemetery in Murray County, GA. Virgil E. BARKSDALE, 78, died October 19, 1970 in Whitfield County, Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Farmer Barksdale. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mary (Bill) Westby, Mrs. Hazel (Harold) Groves, Mrs. Betty (Rosa) Black, Mrs. Ann (Regis) Phelan, Mrs. Rachel (Clyde) Green, Mrs. Helen (Lewis) Chapman and Mrs. Ruth (Santo) Palazzola; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on October 20, 1970 in the Chapel of Stroup Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Bridges, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Harrison Chapel Cemetery in Murray County, GA. Mary Ann BLACK, 65, of Whitfield County, Dalton, GA, died August 6, 2000. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Naula Smith Black. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley and Joy; brother, Charles; Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Love Funeral Home wih the Rev. Jim Burgess officiating. Burial was in the West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, GA. Love Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Berry Rollins BOWEN, 62, of Dalton, GA. died January 26, 1916. He was born May 30, 1853 in Rutherford County, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Nancy C. Davis Bowen. He was survived by his wife Martha F. Richardson Bowen of Dalton. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Whitfield County, Dalton, GA. Thelma B. D. Walker BRACKETT, 64, of Whitfield County, Dalton, GA, died June 26, 1996 in Dalton, GA. She was born August 9, 1931, in Walker County, GA, the daughter of the late Jesse James and Eller Lucille Mulkey Walker. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Clarence and Jack Walker. Survivors include husband, daughters and sons-in-law, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held June 28, 1996 from the chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Revs. Michael Blackstock and Dwight Millican officiating. Funeral arrangements were by Ponders Funeral Home of Dalton, GA. Maude Pritchett BRAMBLETT, 76, died January 31, 1999. Services were at Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Ellsworth officiating. Burial was in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Thomas Henry BRAMBLETT, 48, died May 18, 1941. Funeral services were held May 20, 1941 at the South Dalton Baptist Church with the Rev. W. J. Ray, the Rev. Claude Richardson and the Rev. Bill Cantrell, officiating. Mr. Bramblett is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruby Bramblett; two sons, J. C. and Paul L. Bramblett; two daughters, Mrs. De Ette Fauscett and Mrs. Frances White, and one sister, Mrs. Lee Hall, of Tilton. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery with Kenemer Brothers in charge of arrangements. Dottry George BREWER, Sr., 65, of Dalton, GA. died February 15, 1987. He was preceded in death by parents, George Washington and Barbara Alice Trotter Brewer; brothers, William Lee and Clyde Brewer; sister, Leafy Ann Brewer; son, Homer Lee Brewer; grandson, Michael Scott Brewer. Funeral services were held February 17, 1987 at Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Pauline Henderson BREWER, 60, of Dalton, GA. died September 7, 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Gussie Crider Henderson; brothers, Charlie Otis, John Henry Steed and George Samuel Henderson; sister, Pearl Louise Henderson Brewer; husband, Dottry George Brewer, Sr.; son, Homer Lee Brewer; grandson, Michael Scott Brewer. Funeral services were September 10, 1990 at Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. R. B. BROCK, Jr., three week old infant of Mr. & Mrs. R. B. Brock, Sr., died December 6, 1940 in Dalton, GA. Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George Brock of Tilton and Mr. & Mrs. Tom Engle of Dalton. Funeral services were December 8, 1940 at Swamp Creek Baptist Church. Interment was in Swamp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Love Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. H. D. BROWN, formerly of Dalton died November 16, 1940 in Atlanta, GA. He is survived by Mrs. E. M. Britton and Mr. & Mrs. Robert M. McCord of Hapeville and Mr. & Mrs. G. H. Fowler of Lawrenceville. Funeral services were conducted in Dalton November 17, 1940 with interment in West Hill Cemetery. Darthula BURKHALTER, 85, of Dalton, died Thursday, October 5, 1995 in the Wood Dale Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Burkhalter and her son, Alvin Mannon Burkhalter. Survivors include one sister, Ruby Johnson of Dalton , and sister-in-law, Beulah Harris of Dalton; nieces and nephews. Services are Saturday at 2 pm from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. O. C. Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens (Ringgold, Catoosa County, Georgia). The family will receive friends at the funeral home today after 6 pm. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.. Howard Ray BYERS, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Byers, died March 1, 1935 in Dalton, GA. He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mr. L. A. Byers and Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Carter of Dalton. Interment was in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home of Dalton, GA in charge of the arrangements.
