Welcome
to the GeorgiaGenWeb Project Site. We are also affiliated with the
American History and Genealogy Project. We are the original
GAGenWeb/GeorgiaGenWeb Project. We have moved to a new home and are no
longer affiliated with the USGenWeb Project. Our goals and hopes for this
renewed project is that we will all be able to work together with researchers in
a harmonious and neighborly fashion, providing and sharing information between
the county coordinators and the researchers. Please help us build this
project into a much better Mousetrap.
Please bear with us during our growing and transitional pains, we will be up and
running in full steam shortly. Some sites are readying themselves to be
linked and we hope you will visit them. If you have an interest in a
county and would like to work in the project, please let us know. We will
be happy to help you with getting started on a website, and helping you through
the learning pains. For those that do not want to do a website but would
like to be a "community resource helper" on the site, please contact the county
