F. Balbiani Enno F. Balbiani, 74, of 2966
W. 64th St. N. died of cancer Sunday, Jan. 13, at his home. Funeral services
will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pence Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev.
Merle Smith, chaplain of Skiff Medical Center in Newton, officiating. Burial
will be at Restland Cemetery in Baxter. Friends may call today at the funeral
home where family will be available from 6:30 to 8 p.m Memorials will be
accepted in his name. The son of Jacob A. and Lena
Vogt Balbiani, he was born June 22, 1927, in Newton. He graduated from Newton
Senior High School in 1945. On Sept. 21, 1947, he married Dorothy L. Main in
Newton. He was a Farmer and raised Holstein cattle. After farming, he worked for
the Newton Feed Store. He served in the United States Army. Survivors
include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Judy of Lee's Summit, Mo.,
a daughter, Kathleen Sites of Omaha, Neb., a daughter-in-law, Kerry Balbiani of
Baxter, eight grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, one great-grandson and two
step-great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by
