COLFAX — Kevin Richard Bissell, 42, of Colfax died Monday, Oct. 29, at his home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colfax with the Rev. Dan Durocher officiating. Burial will be at the Colfax Cemetery. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements. Friends may call Wednesday after noon at the funeral home where family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted in his name. The son of Harold A. and Rosalie M.
Stier Bissell, he was born April 12, 1959. He graduated from Waukee High School
in 1977 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management
from the University of Northern Iowa. On May 19, 1984, he married Denise Parks
in Waukee. They moved to Colfax in 1984 and he worked for Bissell House Moving
Company. Survivors include his wife; a son, Colton of Colfax; a daughter, Maranda of Colfax: his parents of Waukee; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Greg and Wendy of Colfax and Dale of Waukee; a sister, Debra of Waukee: a grandmother, Yvonne Bissell of Cumberland; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
