Sandra
K. Collins REASNOR
— Sandra K. "Sandy" Collins, 56, of Reasnor died of cancer
Wednesday, Oct. 31, at her home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at
Wallace Family Funeral Home In Newton with the Rev. Duane E. Skidmore of the
Reasnor United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Waveland Cemetery
in Prairie City. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home where
family will be available from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials wlU be accepted to the Heart
Connection. The
daughter of Kenneth and Lois Clark Guthrie, she was born Dec. 5, 1944, in
Prairie City. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1963. On June 17,
1974, she married Richard McClelland in Reasnor. She was an attendant in the Dry
Coat Department of the Maytag Company for 30 years and retired in 1999. She
lived in Reasnor for 26 years. Survivors
include her husband, two sons and a daughter -in-law, Chuck and Holly Collins of
Des Moines and Rick Collins of Reasnor, two grandchildren, two brothers and
sisters-in-law, Steve and Peggy Guthrie of Long Grove and Stan and Mary Guthrie
of Des Moines, and a sister, Sherry Guthrie of Colfax. She
