Henry L. Kling MESA,
Ariz. ~ Henry L. Kling, 85, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Kellogg, died Saturday,
Dec. 22. Graveside
services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Newton Union Cemetery. Gilbert-Nordstrom
Funeral Home in Lovilia is handling arrangements. Friends may call after 4 p.m.
Thursday at the funeral home. The
son of Louis and Bertha Brooks Kling, he was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Kellogg. He
married Judy McGee in 1973 and attended Iowa State University, receiving a
Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and agronomy. He farmed in the
Kellogg area from 1972 to 1974. Mr. Kling was a regional sales representative
for the United States Department of Agriculture and in 1975 was appointed
assistant director of the United States Litigation and Appeals U.S.D.A. He
resided in Mesa, Ariz., the past 17 years. Survivors
include his wife, two sons. Dr. Timothy Kling of Kitty Hawk, N.C., and David of
Overland Park, Kan., six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother,
George Kling of Newton, three sisters, Florence Wallace of Tucson, Ariz., Mary
Powell of Mason City, and Dorothy Pearson of St. Petersburg, Fla. He
