B. Maxwell David B. Maxwell, 46, of 308
E. 18th St. N. died of a heart attack Monday, Feb. 11, at his home. Funeral
services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in
Newton with Chaplain Merle Smith of Skiff Medical Center officiating. Burial
will be at Newton Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m at the funeral
home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will
be accepted in his name and may be left at the funeral home.
The son of Richard B. and
Patricia C. (Snyder) Maxwell, he was born May 6, 1955, in Newton. He graduated
from Newton Senior High School in 1974 and was a lifelong resident of Newton. He
worked as a guard at the Women's Corrections Facility in Mitchellville. Survivors include a daughter,
Lindsy Maxwell of Newton, two sisters, Kathy Peckham of Globe, Ariz., and Connie
Maxwell of Baxter; and an aunt and uncle. He was preceded in death by
