Ann Lewis Mickelson FORDLAND.
Mo. — Shirley Ann Lewis Mickelson, 62, of Fordland, Mo., formerly of Newton,
died of cancer Friday, Nov. 30, at her son's home in Fordland. Mo. Funeral
services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Community Heights Alliance Church in
Newton with the Rev. Danny Hodges officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union
Cemetery. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements. The
family will greet friends immediately following the committal service with a
lunch at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials in Mrs.
Mickelson's name. They may be left at the service or at the funeral home. The
daughter of Lem Laverne Lewis and Geneva S. Young Walters, she was born Jan. 4,
1939, in Nampa, Idaho. She married Ole Bernard Mickelson in 1961. She resided in
Newton from 1957 to 1972. Survivors
include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dale L. and Kim of Fordland, Mo.,
Ron E. and Helen of Springfield, Mo., and Rick W. of Rolla, Mo., two step-sons
and daughters-in-law, Bernard and VeeAnn of Orem, Utah, and Loren and Barbara of
Newton; a daughter and son-in-law, Tamalia S. and Jonathan Perry of Springfield,
Mo., a step-daughter, Marlene R. Mickelson of Lemon Grove, Calif., eight
grandchildren: several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and
two sisters, Janice Koontz of Mira Loma, Calif., and Linda VerSteegt of Newton. She
