Miller KELLOGG
- Virgil Miller, 92, of Kellogg died of congestive heart failure Tuesday, Dec.
4, at Heritage
Manor in Newton. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 am. at the Kellogg
Christian Church. Burial will be it Our Silent City Cemetery in rural Kellogg.
Pence Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.
Friends
may call Friday after 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Memorials will be accepted m his name. The
son of August G. and Laura Speas Miller, he was born May 14, 1909, in rural
Kellogg. He was a graduate of Laurel Senior High School. On Aug. 17, 1954, he
married Helen M. Stover in Nashua. He was a fanner and a member of the Jasper
County Farm Bureau. He lived his entire life on the farm where he was born in
rural Kellogg. Survivors
include his wife, three sons, James V. and Galen of Newton and Oliver V. of
Kellogg, and a daughter, Mary L. of Newton.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister and two
