Lowell G. Perry

FERGUSON — Lowell G. Perry, 86, of Ferguson, formerly of Baxter, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, at his home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. Rollin Walters officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Baxter. Boyd-Davis Funeral Home in Baxter is handling arrangements. Friends may call Friday at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ.

 The son of Oscar and Laura Hennaman Perry, he was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Jasper County. He was raised in Baxter and Marshall County and attended Baxter High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II and served in California and Alaska. He farmed the Jasper County area and lived in Baxter and Missouri prior to moving to Ferguson,

 Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn Runner of Ferguson and Velma Schmidt of Rhodes; a brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Helen of Baxter; and many nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
