 Julia Jane Rozendaal

CEDAR FALLS — Julia Jane Rozendaal, 75, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Sully, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Monday, Oct. 8. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Orchard Hill Reformed Church in Cedar Falls, Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Sully Cemetery in Sully. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is handling arrangements.

 Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials wit be accepted to Orchard Hill Reformed Church, Campus Crusade for Christ or the University of Northern Iowa Foundation.

 The daughter of Peter D. and Anna Mae Woody Rozendaal, she was born July 24, 1926, in rural Lynnville. She graduated from Sully High School and from Central College where she earned her bachelor's and master’s degrees. She also received an education specialist degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Miss Rozendaal taught elementary schools in rural Jasper County, Belle Plaine, Sac City and Cedar Falls for 16 years. She was professor emeritus of UNI and taught for 24 years in the department of education in psychology. She retired in 1988.

 Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbur and Eleanor Rozendaal of Lynnville and Edward and Mary Rozendaal of Colo; a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Maurice Ellison of Columbia Heights, Minn.; and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a niece.
