 Hannah L. Swarts

 DES MOINES — Hannah L. Swarts, one day old, died of complications of congenital anomalies Saturday, Oct. 20, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Newton Union Babyland in Newton Union Cemetery with the Rev. Tiare Mathison-Bowie, co-pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Newton, officiating. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements. Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left at the funeral home.  

 The daughter of Greg Swarts and Carte Wolfe of Des Moines, she was born Oct. 9, 2001, in Des Moines. Survivors include her parents; a brother, Austin Wolfe of Des Moines; two sisters, Ashley Schmidtberger and Gabrielle Swarts, also of Des Moines, maternal grandparents, Bill Wolfe and Bambi Wolfe, both of Monroe, paternal grandparents, Lyle and Kaye Swarts of Newton, maternal great-grandparents, Bob and Lucille Wolfe of Monroe and paternal great-grandparents, John and Lois Cridlebaugh of Centerville.
