A. Van Sant SULLY
— Brandon A. Van Sant, 18, of Sully died of injuries received in a vehicular
accident Thursday, Feb. 21, near Peoria. Funeral services will be Wednesday at
10:30 a.m. at Sully Christian Reformed Church in Sully with the Rev, William
Zeilstra officiating. Burial will be at Sully Cemetery. Van Dyk-Duven Funeral
Home in Pella is handling arrangements. Visitation will begin today at the
funeral home and will continue until noon Tuesday. Family visitation will be at
the Pella Christian High School in Pella from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials
will be accepted to the Pella Christian High School Computer Fund. The
son of Steven Willis and Michelle Denise [Proctor) Van Sant, he was born Feb.
24, 1983, in Visalia, Calif. He grew up in Visalia and Conrad, Mont. He attended
school at the New Holland Christian Grade School in New Holland, S. D., Fort Lauderdale
Christian Grade School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Sully Christian Grade
School. He was a senior at Pella Christian High School in Pella. He enjoyed
reading, video games, watching science fiction and paint balling with his
friends. He was involved as a technician with the publication of the
"Eagles Cry." Survivors
include his parents, three brothers, Brett Alexander, Bradley Aaron and Brayden
Andrew, all of Sully, a sister, Breighann Adriana, of Sully, maternal
grandparents, James R. and Janice (Fuller) Proctor Sr. of McKinleyville, Calif.,
his paternal grandmother, Berdine E. (Slings) Van Sant of Sully, a maternal
great-grandmother, Bertha (Davis) Margrey of Ahwahnee, Calif., and numerous
other relatives and friends. He
