B. White Florence
B. White, 91, of Heritage Manor Care Center in Newton died of congestive heart
failure Monday, Dec. 3, at the care center. Funeral
services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pence Funeral Home in Newton. Burial
will be at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Friday after 12:30
p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home where the family will be
available. Memorials will be accepted to Heritage Manor Activity Fund. The
daughter of Willard and Golda Ellis Benson, she was born July 5, 1910, in
Kellogg. She attended country school in the Kellogg area. On June 5, 1935, she
married Clifford R. "Spec” White in Newton. She was a homemaker and a
member of the Tops Club. She enjoyed traveling and her pets. Survivors
include a son, Gary of Alameda, Calif., a daughter-in-law, Justine of Eagle
River Wis., three grandsons, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Lois Perry
of Eldon, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, five brothers and two sisters. Newton Daily News, Newton, IA, December 5, 2001. |
