In Europe the church is usually
in the center
of the village. This was probably because for many
centuries, the church was the seat of
government.
We were told that this is one of the few Lutheran Churches in Bavaria. On the right of this photo you can see a screened box-like area. We were told that the Queen of Bavaria came to this church and this is where she sat.
The baptismal fount where a child was baptised on the day of our visit. It is probably the same fount from which Georg Wilhelm Hitschler was baptised.
