Genealogical Research Request

Individual research is available at a minimum cost.

1. Probate records shown on iagenweb.org/jasper/probate/ for cost of printing, postage and handling. See procedures below
2. Extended research at JCGS Library, public library and/or Jasper County Courthouse. Fee is $12.50 per hour that includes the cost of copies and postage. See procedures below

Procedures for probate records.

• Complete the Research Request Form.
• OR send the same information to our e-mail address at jcgs_genealogy@yahoo.com and we'll send you back the cost.
• DO NOT send money with this request.
• DO send a self-addressed legal-size envelop with a first class stamp.
• Researcher will count number of pages to copy and send you back the cost of the probate records.

Procedures for extended research.

• Complete the Research Request Form.
• Enclose check payable to Jasper County Genealogical Society or JCGS for $12.50 for an initial search.
• Researcher will send materials asked for.
