Keith R. Boles, Former Newton Resident, Dies.
Keith Raymond Boles, 49 of 1320 Summit Ave.,
Marshalltown, a former resident of Newton, died Wednesday
afternoon at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30
o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Foursquare Church in
Newton. The Rev. Ellis Ryherd, pastor of the church, will
conduct services. Burial will be in the Sugar Grove
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Chapel after
10 o'clock Friday morning.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel
(Shirlee) Bostrom of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Les (Kay
Ilene) Ray of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three brothers, Carrol
of Louisiana, Kenneth of Lambs Grove and Lowell of Melcher;
three sisters, Mrs. Nioma Lopez of Moline, Ill., Mrs. Fred
Grubel of Moline, Ill.; and Mrs. Mervin Seuferer of Milo;
and his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Willard Boles of Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Dammeier,
in 1975 and an infant brother.
Mr. Boles, a member of the Foursquare Church in Newton, was
employed at the Parsons Co., in Newton for 29 years and more
recently at Fisher-Governor in Marshalltown.
The son of Willard and Flossie Boles, he was born Aug 12,
1927 at Dallas and was educated in Rolland, Melcher,
Sherrad, Ill., and Orion, Ill. He was married to Vera
Dammeier Sept 27, 1950 in Newton and to Mildred Edgar March

Mrs. Keith (Vera Blanche) Boles, 42 of 1343 N 4th Ave.
E., a lifetime resident of Newton, died Tuesday noon at her
home.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the
Foursquare Church. The Rev. Bruce Donham, pastor of the
church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the
Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Funeral Chapel after 7
p.m. today.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Les (Kay
Irene) Ray of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Donald (Shirlee)
Bostrom of Van Nuys, Calif.; two brothers, Derald and Murry
Dammeier, both of Newton, six sisters, Merita Dammeier of
Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Don McKinney, Mrs. Arlene Forker,
Mrs. Charles Roberts and Mrs. George Bragg, all of Newton,
and Mrs. Larry Romick of Monroe; and her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lewis Dammeier of Newton.
Mrs. Boles, a member of the Foursquare Church, had been an
employee of the United Telephone Co. for 22 years.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dammeier, she was born
June 2, 1932 in Metz and attending rural and Newton
schools.
She was married Sept. 27, 1950 at the Foursquare Church in
