Former County Resident Dies in Missouri
Mrs. Ed Price of Henrietta, Mo., died there Monday, following a six week's illness, according to word received here by her niece, Mrs. Dallas Hanke.
The body will arrive in Newton tomorrow morning at 7:00 o'clock, accompanied by her husband and her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Price, all of Henrietta. Services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Metz church, with interment to be made in the Sugar Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Price was born in the Metz vicinity and grew to womanhood there. She also lived several years on a farm west of Kellogg.
Surviving relatives include her husband and son, Orville
of Henrietta, Mo., and a brother, M.A. Hitchler of Metz. ~

Dies of Pneumonia
The little seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Price, who died on a farm six miles east of town, died yesterday morning of pneumonia. Ivan was at school a week ago Thursday. Short funeral services were held at the home today and the interment took place at the Metz cemetery. ~ The Newton Daily News, March 10, 1906.
