Katie Jo Van Zee
Katie Jo Van Zee, 3-month-old daughter of Scott and Lori Van Zee of rural Newton, died Friday at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. The cause of death is unknown, pending autopsy results. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton, with burial at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her parents include a sister, Chelsea Lynn Van Zee, at home; paternal grandparents Virgil and Mary Lou Van Zee of Newton; maternal grandparents Larry and Marcia Ray of Newton; and great-grandmothers Velma Ray of Creston and Ruth Newburn of Clearfield.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m.
