Last Will and Testament of William Ramsey, deceased.

In the name of the Father of all I, William Ramsey, of Linn County, State of Iowa, being of sound mind do make and publish this my last will and testament.
First I give and devise to my beloved wife all the real estate that now belongs to me situated in the County of Linn, and State of Iowa, described as follows, to wit:
Lots No. three (3) and four (4) in block No. twenty-two (22) as described on the recorded Plat of the town of Central City, Linn Co., and State of Iowa to have and to hold the same for her self and her heirs and assigns, forever.
2nd, I give and devise to my wife all of my personal property, goods and chattels of every kind and quantity, moneys, or funds, credits, Stock in Bank or otherwise, after my just debts are paid and my heirs, Mary Hains, now deceased, James H. Ramsey, John Ramsey and William Ramsey are given five ($5 00/100) dollars each out of my estate to use and to hold the same in her right as her heirs and assigns, forever.
She has but a few years to live at most and I deem it my duty as a husband to provide for her wants according to my ability. My children are young and able of themselves to live and live well, therefore the above is my wish and I hereby appoint George H. Andrews executor of this my last will and testament.
Signed and acknowledged by said William Ramsey as his last will and testament in our presence and signed by us in his presence.

Proof of will:
State of Iowa
Linn County
I, J. L. Crawford (?), Clerk of the Circuit Court in said County do hereby certify that on this day of June, __ A. D. 1878 of said Court, the Will and Instrument in writing herewith annexed and bearing the date of the 21st day of December, 1876, was duly proved before and allowed by the court as and for the last will and testament of the real and personal estate of William ___ late of said county, deceased, and was by said Court ordered to be resolved as such will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed ____ of said Court at my office in said County this 3rd day of June A. D. 18__.
