Questions cover a wide range of topics including organization of or attempts to organize townships; appointments of commissioners; minutes of first meeting of board of supervisors; titles of county commissioners; information on current townships; conditions of tuberculosis sanatoriums; statistics on blind, old age, and mothers' pensions; county health programs; colleges and seminaries; coal mining and railroad operations; County Farm Bureau and County Home Bureau organizations; decennial financial reports of county officials; construction of courthouses; and sketches of public squares, courthouses, and other official buildings. Usually included are county maps showing township boundary lines and legal descriptions of townships. Occasionally publications about the counties are included. |
