Sarah Ann Lewis married Richard Green Lindsey in Jackson Co 7/16/1857. They had 4 children. Sarah Elizabeth b. 1859, Margret Ellen b. 1862, Jacob b. 1863 and Ida b. 1869. James Madison Lewis, b.1852 Union Co. IL d. 1931 Madison Co. IL married Nancy Ann Harris of Jackson Co.IL. James and Nancy had a farm on Cedar creek in Jackson Co.. James and his family show up in the 1900 Jackson Co. census. Their children and their ages at that time listed on that census are, James R.(Ralph)12, Floyd (Bert)6, Hally 2, Raymond 8. Other known children of this family are: Arthur, Oscar, Claude, Ida, Leorea, Sarah, Lilly, and Effie. Some time around the depression (1920-1930) James and Nancy moved to Granite City, in Madison county Il. Nancy Ann Harris Lewis, b. 8/1858 in Jackson Co. d. 1934 in Madison Co. 84. ORR, BECK I'm looking for information on Robert Harry ORR, b:1852 in Sullivan, Indiana. He married in Indiana and his first wife died. On her grave stone was his name and dob and a space for his Death date. He reportedly remarried, possibly a Myrtle E. Beck on 11/6/1902, and moved to Murphysboro, Jackson County. IL, died and was buried there with his second wife. His brother put his date of death on the grave stone in Sullivan, IN., however it is reported he was buried in Murphysboro, Jackson County. He is listed in the 1860 Jackson Co. census with 5 children; Margaret 9; William 8; Lucinda 5; Mary 4; and Daniel 2, but there is no sign of their mother. All the children were born in IL.
